How much notice do I have to
give you for my interstate removal ?
Often we can have your goods collected within 24 hours notice, however it
is always best to give as much notice as possible, although usually 2
weeks is a reasonable time frame.
Can you arrange storage for my
goods for a few days ?
We do have a range of storage solutions available for both local removals
and interstate removals, and with a number of affiliate storage facilities
throughout Australia, we can certainly meet your requirements for your
furniture storage.
Does your quote include
insurance ?
All of our quotes include GST & Standard Transit insurance, which covers
only
for fire, flood, collision and overturning of the vehicle. This is
not an all risk cover and we therefore recommend you obtain
insurance for your relocation by contacting your current insurance
provider or alternatively please visit
www.RemovalsInsurance.com.au
Do you use trucks or containers
?
We have both available, Trucks with containers which are transported by
rail. And also large semi's are available, as well as smaller vehicles for
local furniture removals as well.
How long will it take for my
furniture to arrive ?
Because we are predominantly a backloading service, we can only indicate
to you an approximate transit time. We do not give guaranteed
delivery dates or times.
Brisbane to Cairns = 2 to 5 working days
Brisbane to Sydney = 2 to 5 working days
Brisbane to Melbourne = 2 to 7 working days
Brisbane to Perth = 5 to 14 working days
This is only approximate
and a more accurate timing schedule can be obtained through our office.
I need my furniture quickly, do
you have an express service ?
Although we are primarily a backloading service, you can request the sole
use of the vehicle or container which will speed up the process, and often
we will be able to accommodate for your timing requirements. Please note
that additional charges will apply.
I'm not sure how many boxes I
will have ?
The best way to estimate how many boxes you have, is to walk through your
home room by room counting and estimating how many you will require. As an
indicative guide please find the average carton count as below;
1 Bedroom unit; 8 tea chest / 4 book carton
2 Bedroom unit; 12 tea chest / 6 book cartons
3 Bedroom unit or small home; 18 tea chest / 10 book cartons
4 Bedroom or smaller 5 bedroom home; 30 tea chest / 12 book cartons
What if I have missed something
off my inventory list ?
Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make all necessary
adjustments and arrangements for allocation of space and any additional
charges that your extra goods may incur. Additional charges are calculated
on a pro rata basis.
Can you pack all the boxes for
me ?
We can certainly arrange to have professional pre-packers to pack up all
your cartons if required, normally the day before collection at very
competitive rates. We can also have your goods unpacked for a minimal fee.
Can I take my pot plants ?
Normally we do not like to move pot plants in the vehicle, as they do not
stack well, and can be awkward to secure inside the vehicle. When moving
interstate, certificates & permits may be required to cross interstate
borders. Should you wish to take your pot plants you should ensure that
all required certification and permits have been obtained to save delays
and additional charges.
