- Introduction
The Moving Group Code of Conduct sets out stringent standards
expected of members, so that clients may relocate with a member of The Moving
Group confidently.
- Dealing with the Client
(a) A Moving Group inventory as completed by the client enforces the quoted
price, and can not be altered unless those details differ from those provided by
the client.
(b) The contract terms & conditions used must either be the contract terms &
conditions of The Moving Group or one approved by The Moving Group by a Moving
Group Member.
(c) The Moving Group insurance disclosure and recommendations must be made available to the client.
- Staff
(a) Members will provide adequately trained staff for the work undertaken.
(b) Members of The Moving Group are expected to only use highly experienced
staff at all times.
- Vehicles and Equipment
(a) Vehicles must be suitable in all respects for the work undertaken,
maintained at least to the standards required by legislation, fully enclosed,
and kept clean, both internally and externally.
(b) The Member must ensure that all materials and equipment used are in a safe
and sound condition, adequate for the work to be undertaken and able to meet
relevant Occupational, Health and Safety standards.
- Insurance
Members will maintain adequate insurances in respect of potential claims against
them including:
(a) Fire, flood, collision, and overturning insurance
(b) Public liability;
(c) Motor vehicle third party property damage.
(d) Disclosure of insurance exclusions and further recommendations to
comprehensively insure must be made to all clients upon obtaining their quote
and upon booking.
- Disputes
(a) Members of The Moving Group agree to make every effort to deal promptly with
any complaint received from a client, and all involved within the dispute
herebye agree that The Moving Group solution for remedy of the dispute is final
and agrees to be bound by such determination.
